Park 1/4 mile south of trail crossing on Joyce-Piedmont Road, or at Spruce Railroad Trail parking area.

19.1 Cross Joyce-Piedmont Road, motorcycle barriers. Parking is 1/4 mile south on the right side.

19.3 Creek crossing - reliable water, must be filtered or purified. This is the last reliable water source for the next three miles going west.

19.4 Horse trail climbs uphill to left on old road, rejoining the biker/hiker trail in about a mile. Horse riders are requested to use this route.

20.4 Rejoin horse trail on road. Continue downhill.

21.0  Join Waterline Road. This is the end of the Adventure Route. The ODT continues left on Waterline Road for Lake Crescent and the Spruce Railroad Trail.

23.3 Gate. Water treatment plant to right. Continue straight on road.

24.1  Intersection with paved road. Turn left for Joyce-Piedmont Road, or right for continuation of ODT to Spruce Railroad Trail, crossing bridge over Lyre River.
