Continue on Old Blyn Highway paralleling 101. The Longhouse on the
south side of the highway has groceries and a deli.

trail, veers west again and crosses two pedestrial briges before
using the old highway again (closed to vehicles).

resident couple donated their land to the US Fish & Wildlife
Service and it is now a refuge.

West Sequim Bay Road. Just before this road is a trestle that
was resurfaced in concrete by volunteers in 2008. As of Summer 2008, the
trail between Sequim Bay State Park and Whitefeather Way is unofficially open. Barriers
remain at Whitefeather Way which must be circumvented.
22.8 Whitefeather Way. Just
north is the Johnson Creek Trestle, which crosses 86 feet above the
creek. This was restored for trail use by volunteers in 2002. Look
closely at the painting on the panels on the south side of the
bridge - it includes names of the volunteers and some amusing
details. From here the trail rises and falls for 1 1/2 miles as it
parallels E. Washington
Street.
