| This park is located in central Washington near Coulee City. During the Ice Age, ice dams backing up huge Lake Missoula gave way, producing cataclismic torrents here that equalled the combined flow of all rivers in the world today.
There is plenty of bicycling on both paved roads and on unpaved roads and trails, and lots of hiking opportunities both on trails and to explore your own routes, especially on the barren rocky rims on the south side of the park. |
